Sad but True

Dad links son's suicide to anti-Christian book.

A New York man is linking the suicide of his 22-year-old son, a military veteran who had bright prospects in college, to the anti-Christian book "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins after a college professor challenged the son to read it.

And he supports voter fraud...

Felon Tony Rezko, William Ayers, the Woods Fund, Rev. Jeremiah (“God damn America!”) Wright, Father Michael Pfleger, support for Kenyan killer Raila Odinga, Nadhmi Auchi, Rashid Khalidi, the Black Panthers’ support, Louis Farrakhan’s support, mystery college transcripts, mystery college theses, mystery Harvard Law Review documents, birth certificate authenticity, the vote against funding our for troops, against the Surge after admitting it worked stance, support of George Soros and MoveOn.Org, “pro-abortion after botched abortion” stance, “Typical white person” and “guns and religion” remarks, “Dreams From My Father” (a compendium of lies), the support of terrorists (donations pouring in from the Middle East), big bucks from Fannie Mae, Jim Johnson, Franklin Raines, stance on sitting down with dictators without preconditions, “The Audacity of Hope” (racism and more lies), the Trinity United Church murders…

…and now a revelation of the Obama campaign’s $800,000 gift to ACORN, an organization that has been found criminally liable for instances of voter fraud for far Left (Democrat) candidates and causes.

Media propaganda and the death of critical thinking in our country have resulted in America’s apparent gravitation toward this sick joke of a candidate due to the current economic crisis, despite the fact that the latter can be directly traced to Democrats.

What gives? Have the vermin inherited the Earth? If not, it appears as though they are about to…

Jimmuh Carter, Barney Frank, and the Community Reinvestment Act

A must read on the forensic examination of our economy's implosion. Click here.
An excerpt from Jeff Jacoby's Boston Globe column on September 28, 2008.
The roots of this crisis go back to the Carter administration. That was when government officials, egged on by left-wing activists, began accusing mortgage lenders of racism and "redlining" because urban blacks were being denied mortgages at a higher rate than suburban whites.

The pressure to make more loans to minorities (read: to borrowers with weak credit histories) became relentless. Congress passed the Community Reinvestment Act, empowering regulators to punish banks that failed to "meet the credit needs" of "low-income, minority, and distressed neighborhoods." Lenders responded by loosening their underwriting standards and making increasingly shoddy loans.

So there you have it.

We Steal, You Pay. You Gotta Problem with That?

So, Congress has abandoned all pretense of ethics. One would presume that the draft for the $700 billion bailout should have as "lean" as possible. But Noooo! Earmarks for liquor manufacturers, toy manufacturers, railroads and much, much more lace the current draft passed by the Senate and being considered by the House.

On October 1, it was revealed that The Crypt Keeper (House Speaker Nancy Pelosi) had paid her husband's firm $100,000 from PAC funds. This is not a mere accusation; no one is denying that it happened. How can The Crypt Keeper even stand in front of the cameras? Because misfeasance has become accepted, commonplace. They're going to do it, and we're going to tolerate it, even pay for it, while we also pay more for gas, food - everything - because of them.

Political activist and rock musician Ted Nugent asserted this week that the entire Congress should be removed, and he's not too far off the mark. I'd say that four-fifths of Congress ought to be impeached or voted out; Chris Dodd, Barney Frank and Barack Obama should be in prison due to their actions vis-a-vis the subprime mortgage debacle, yet the latter might wind up as President.

I indicated in one of my columns this week what I really think ought to happen, but of course I'd never suggest such action; wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more...

We're Winning, Damn it!

Excerpt from a Fox News report of Tuesday, March 25, 2008, By Michael Yon:
Al Qaeda is still trying to spin Iraq into civil war, but whereas in 2005-2006 Al Qaeda was succeeding, today Al Qaeda is being shredded.

An Iraqi officer near Sinjar told me that recently a group of perhaps 20 "jihadists," many of them foreign, descended on a Nineveh village. The Iraqi officer said the terrorists killed some adults and two babies. One baby they murdered was 15 days old.

Until recently, such terror attacks inside Iraq could have coerced the village into sheltering Al Qaeda. Yet this time, the "jihadists" got an unexpected reception. Local men grabbed their rifles and poured fire on the demons, slaughtering them.

Nineteen terrorists were destroyed. Times have changed for Al Qaeda here. Too many Iraqis have decided they are not going to take it anymore. Al Qaeda in Iraq is still fighting, and they are tough and wily, but Al Qaeda Central seems to realize there are easier targets elsewhere, perhaps in Europe, where many people demonstrate weakness in the face of terror.

So much for our losing the war. Interesting that Europe was mentioned as a potential target. Would that the establishment media might go with this sort of thing.

Yes... I know...
